Bit Main Street Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Bit Main Street (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Bit Main Street, governing your access to and use of our services, including:

  • Bit Main Street Market Network (Ghost-based platform)
  • Satoshi For Storage
  • Crypto Academy educational products

By accessing, registering, or using any of these services (collectively, “Services”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You affirm you are ≥18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) and not prohibited from using crypto-related services by any sanctions regime (e.g. OFAC). You represent that your use of our Services complies with all applicable laws.

3. Definitions

  • User Content: any content, data, reviews, uploads you provide.
  • Crypto Products: e-books, courses, consultation services offered via Crypto Academy.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Use Services for money-laundering, fraud, or unauthorized financial activity.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent identity.
  • Abuse, hack, or disrupt our platforms.
  • Post illegal, abusive, obscene, or infringing content.

5. Account, Registration & Security

You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, password, and private keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate and complete information at registration.

6. Payments & Pricing

For Crypto Academy courses or products, payments must be made by the specified payment methods (e.g. credit card, crypto wallets). We may change pricing, promotions, and plans at any time. No refunds unless expressly stated. Missed payments may result in account suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, software, layouts, and educational materials are owned by Bit Main Street or licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. User Contributions

If you submit content (forum posts, reviews, feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, distribute, and display it. You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied (fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy).
  • In no event will Bit Main Street, its affiliates or officers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of damages.
  • Our total liability for direct damages will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

We may include external links or integrate third-party tools (e.g. wallet providers, analytics). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Use them at your own risk.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may change these Terms from time to time. We’ll post updates on our site and indicate a “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [State/Country and applicable jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration or in courts located in [venue], as chosen by us, except where prohibited by law.

13. Termination & Suspension

A. Ghost-based Market Network Clause

You acknowledge that transaction settlement and custody are handled off-chain or via user wallets. We are not a financial institution and do not custody your funds unless explicitly stated.

B. Satoshi For Storage Clause

Our decentralized storage service (Satoshi For Storage) allows you to store encrypted files. We do not guarantee redundancy or uptime; you are responsible for backups. We are not liable for data loss.

C. Crypto Academy Educational Products

Access to course materials is licensed, non-exclusive. Unauthorized distribution or sharing is prohibited. Refunds are at our sole discretion, based on published policies.
